Election Notification- 2009

The President and General body Meeting of SNM (India) at Delhi has authorized the undersigned member to conduct, coordinate and execute the election process in transparent, confidential and democratic environment for electing the management committee (executive body) of SNM for 2010-2011.The elections will be held for the following posts:

1. President (Elect) - One seat
2. Hon. Secretary- I - One seat (to be filled from head quarters/Mumbai)
3. Hon. Secretary -II (Rest of India)- One seat
4. Treasurer (to be filled from head quarters/Mumbai) - one seat
5. Executive Committee Members (six posts)

Eligible members of SNM can download the 'nomination form' from official website or request a copy from election officer by e-mail (anshurajneesh@rediffmail.com) and send it to election office by registered speed post after duly signed by two SNM members as proposer and seconder of nomination, before the closing date. Election office will not be responsible for any postal delay or transit loss of post.

Screening committee of election office will screen the nomination form for the eligibility of candidates. Decision of election committee in this regard will be final. Names of eligible nominations/candidates contesting for various executive posts will appear on official website. Accountability, technicalities, reliability and confidentiality and costing of electronic voting will be sought from experts in this field. Otherwise, election office is prepared for conventional ballot paper and by post voting mechanism.
